Spokane County's first Bilingual Driving Academy under Latinos en Spokane! This incredible program will provide low cost Driver’s Education for immigrants and low-income families, making a big impact on accessibility and safety in our community.

In 2022, Latinos En Spokane launched a low cost driver’s education and license assistance program to address the lack of Spanish-language, create low cost and affordable driver’s in Spokane. Without a license, many face challenges in employment and community participation, especially in areas with limited public transportation. For women, particularly mothers, the inability to drive further impacts economic stability and independence.

Our classes provide culturally relevant instruction, guiding participants through driver education, road safety, licensing requirements, and preparation for written and practical exams, ensuring accessibility and success.
